Doug O' Hara: President
Doug brings a bachelors degree in Soil Science from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo, plus 18 years of experience out in the field with hands on farming. He looks at groves with a profit in mind for the grower and is production oriented. Doug is married to Betty and a father of two daughters, Elyssa and Elena.
Debbie Larmon: Entomologist & Vice President of Pest Control
Debbie brings a vast experience with some 20 years of running an innovative pest management program for an entomology company and now for Somis Pacific. She holds an operators license along with an advisors license for pest control with the State of California. She's an intricate part in our fruit quality program.
Martin Ortega: General Manager of Cultural Operation
Martin brings over 20 years of experience in hands on farming as the general manager of cultural operations with his in-field experience. He's a natural at farm profitably.
Scott McIntyre: CEO
Scott holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Farm Management from Fresno State. He worked 2 years for Agrispect, Inc., 2 ½ years for Pro Ag, Inc., and then went out on his own to start Sierra Pacific Farms which has been in business now for over 20 years. Scott has served 13 years on the California Avocado Commission, with 3 of those as Chairman and 5 years as Vice Chairman. He also served 2 years on the National Hass Avocado Board.
Debbie McIntyre: CFO
Debbie brings over 20 years of financial and accounting experience to the company, running the day to day operations at both Sierra Pacific Farms and Somis Pacific. Debbie is married to Scott and has 4 children, Courtney, Kelsey, Cassidy and Hayden.
